Lasting Powers of Attorney
Under the terms of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, any Power completed after 1st October 2007 will be known as a Lasting Power of Attorney. It will be possible to appoint someone to deal with healthcare decisions on your behalf, as well as financial decisions.
